I am so excited about this quilt. It is a bit wonky and I have a new respect for triangles but I love it. I knew I wanted a smallish quilt but didn’t know how small it would turn out. With the finished product at 23.5 by 27 inches it has so many possibilities and I couldn’t be happier. With no more batting than a single layer of muslin it will be just perfect for this summer babies stroller/car seat blankie or maybe even a changing pad. The absents of extra batting also makes it so easy to roll up and take with me where ever we may go.
This was my first try with this color scheme and I really love it and will be making a few more quilts for him with it. I think I’ll do another muslin batting one in a bit larger size of about 45 by 45 and than one with regular batting for the crib. These other quilts will have to wait until after April. I have a few more projects to finish up and then I will be birthday time again.
Yay! I can’t wait.

I love it! Wonderful colors… I am always amazed by your color choices
and I never thought to use muslin as batting … What a great idea!!!
