This morning my phone was stolen. I didn’t lose it, someone walked by while I had it set down, in a place I assumed was safe, and picked it up. I’m a little saddened by this and I feel embarrassed that I wasn’t more carefull. My gut tells me otherwise but I am still hopeful that the person who took it might feel guilty and returns it.
Well, last night, YESTERDAY!!! I randomly decided it was time to upload all of my photos and movies I’d been taking and storing for the last few months. I deleted all of the them and so with this phone lost, I am only out the money to replace it, or maybe not, but none of the important content I’d been storing in the phone.
This gave me such peace in an otherwise stressful moment. I don’t need to worry, I am being watched over and everything is going to be ok. Phone or no phone.
How about you? Are you feeling any tender mercies lately?
I am looking forward to this weekend. Saturday and Sunday is General Conference. Two days of listening to our leaders, receiving guiding and uplifting messages. A must see.
