Last night I was almost in tears. For some reason my sewing machine wasn’t working right. My stitches on the back just wouldn’t lay strait. I messed with the tension, sewed, and ripped again and again and again. The handle and front flap was sew at least 10 times. At the end of the night I gave up and went to bed. I was all prepared to retract my birthday give-away post and say sorry, that wont be happening. However, I woke in the morning, refreshed, with a clear mind, and had an idea for my last resort attempt. Needles. Maybe I need a different size needle for this lovely decor weight fabric I’m sewing with. I went to the only American store we have here and they didn’t have the right sized needles. I came back home, again ready to pull my post. By the time needles got to me here in Turkey, the month would be over and almost all my projects are sewing ones. To my surprise deep within my stash I had one lone number 16 needle ready to give it a try. Did it work? Yes it did. Hurray! I only have one. I will try and order some more but who knows when they’ll get here. I will have to be careful and make it last. Only use it on those top seams over multiple layers. Maybe someone here has one I could have.
Anyway, I am happy to show you the sewn ten times over present number one.
I hope you like it.
